New trees planted

Today we planted several new trees on the roadsides in Kelsall: two hornbeams on Willington Lane and Hallows Drive, a sycamore on the Waste, by the pond, and a Sorbus (wild service tree) on the green space by Earles Lane and Duttons Lane on Old Coach Road.

Some of these replaced trees that died, and some are new additions.

We would have liked to plant more, but unfortunately, there are underground utilities under many of the wide grassy verges, making this impossible.
