Kelsall Parish Council maintains the following green spaces:

  • Kelsall Green, including the Playground
  • the allotments
  • Methodist Church Green

In 2022 KPC created new wildflower areas, planted a copper beech for the Queen's Jubilee, installed new adult gym equipment on the Green, and also a defibrillator, available for all to use in an emergency.

Would you like to use Kelsall Green?

Local groups are welcome to use Kelsall Green. For regular activities charging a fee for participants, we ask that you contact us, and a small fee is payable.

Please contact us to

  • Report any issues with the Green or playground equipment
  • To apply for an allotment
  • If you would like to organise a regular activity or an event on Kelsall Green.

Incidents and anti-social behaviour (including evidence of drug-taking) should be reported to Cheshire Police. While many incidents reported will not bring an immediate response, they do help the police allocate resources to patrol the area. The Green is monitored by CCTV. KPC and the police can access CCTV images to follow up on incidents reported.

Other green spaces in Kelsall are owned and maintained by Cheshire West and Chester, including:

  • the Waste, with its pond and small woodland
  • the picnic area and woodland at the Yeld, near the car park.
