Kelsall has many pockets of green space which are just grass or weeds. These have generally been left as 'too small to do anything'. But these wasted spaces could be improved, with a bit of creativity and by working together!
We're looking for green-fingered or just enthusiastic residents who would like to help
us improve these spaces in Kelsall.
For a start, we'd like to turn this corner into a herb bed – for anybody to pick & work on:
This sunny corner would be very suitable for growing herbs such as sage, rosemary, bay, fennel, etc/ We're planning to get rid of the grass in the autumn, with a view to planting some shrubs in the spring.
Would you like to help? Can you provide some of the plants?
Once this is done, we're on the look-out for more!
Can you suggest other WASTED SPACES in Kelsall that could be turned into little community gardens?
