Two new planning applications have already been either submitted, or consulted on (see page)
In addition, see the attached map. This shows the sites submitted to the Cheshire West Land Availability Assessment (LAA) – a survey exercise showing what land could be developed. Sites on the map have often been put forward by their owners or by developers' agents.
We have added numbers to the sites mapped, showing how many houses could be built, depending on density:
Not all of the LAA sites will necessarily be developed and applications could be submitted for other sites. Developers/Landowners choose where (and what) they want to build and apply for permission.
For some of these sites, applications are likely being prepared, but most developers will not share information before officially submitting their application. The Local Planning Authority (CWAC) grant permission (or refuse), assess the impact and can set conditions/financial contributions to mitigate the impact, if necessary.
Residents and the Parish Council can comment on all submitted planning applications, and the Parish Council is working to update the Neighbourhood Plan.
